The following criteria must be met by all candidates that are interested in being selected to the Board of Directors:

Candidate Criteria for 2024-2025
The following criteria must be met by all candidates that are interested in being selected to the Board of Directors:
- An active member in good standing of CMAA at both the National level as well as the local Chapter level
- Have demonstrated a personal and professional commitment to both the club management industry as well as the Association
- A member of the GA Chapter of CMAA for a minimum of two (2) years
- Have achieved their CCM designation or actively pursuing their CCM
- Currently holding a top level leadership position within their club
- Is actively involved in and participates regularly in Chapter and/or National educational and social activities
- Has actively served on at least one Committee at the local or national level for a minimum of one year
- Has received a written endorsement from their GM, COO, or Club President,
- Has received a written endorsement from a minimum of two (2) CMAA managers outside of their club, recommending them for the Board of Directors
- Be able to commit to monthly Board meetings and CMAA-related business, such as educational sessions and service on committees
- Be willing to lead/chair a committee although it may not be the one in which he/she is most interested in
- Be a creative, visionary and strategic thinker who can share the long-term mission of CMAA and work respectfully with staff, committees and board members toward goals
- Be passionate about the continuous improvement of CMAA
- Have the ability to work collaboratively, and engage in appropriate debate and discussion when needed
- Submit a vision of their role on the Board (200 words or less) to be presented to the Board of Directors/Nominating Committee for review
- All required materials are to be submitted to the Managing Director by 08/30/2024.

*If you transferred into the Georgia Chapter this year and were active in your previous Chapter that will count towards the chapter member requirement.

The following criteria must be met by all candidates that are interested in being selected to a Committee within the Georgia Chapter:
- An active member in good standing of CMAA at both the National level as well as the local Chapter level
- Have demonstrated a personal and professional commitment to both the club management industry as well as the Association.
- Actively pursuing their CCM designation
- Actively attends and participates regularly in Chapter educational and social activities
- Must be able to commit to regular Committee meetings and actively participate and contribute to the Committee for a period of one year
- Be a creative and strategic committee member to assist in improving the Chapter and programs for all members
- Be passionate about the continuous improvement of CMAA
- Have the ability to work collaboratively, and engage in appropriate debate and discussion when needed.
- Submit a paragraph as to why you would be a great candidate for a committee (200 words or less) to be reviewed by the Board of Directors
