The Georgia Chapter CMAA
January Meeting - Capital City Club Downtown
Cory Niehaus with John Deere and Jim Roberts of Greenville Turf & Tractor, present a check to
Jeff Blais, CCM (Chapter President) and the Georgia Chapter of CMAA for $45,507.51. This
amount represents a rebate for sales of John Deere equipment made by the
Georgia Chapter member clubs in 2013.
In 2013, the Georgia Chapter of CMAA partnered with John Deere in their John Deere Golf Rewards* program. This program was designed to combine three significant benefits:
1. Preferred pricing on John Deere golf maintenance equipment.
2. Discounts on popular John Deere homeowner equipment like lawn tractors and Gator™ Utility Vehicles. (Unlocked after the first purchase of golf maintenance equipment)
3. A rebate back to a CMAA chapter based on a portion of every club operation purchase.
The partnership between the Georgia Chapter of CMAA & John Deere was a huge success. In January of 2014, John Deere presented a check to the Georgia Chapter for over $45,000.
John Deere is proud to be a Platinum Alliance Partner of the national CMAA, and even prouder of how the rebate part of John Deere Golf Rewards can translate this support to the individual chapters so that they can enhance their educational and other professional development initiatives.
Any CMAA member qualifies. And it only takes a minute or two to enroll your club on their recently launched website, JohnDeereGolfRewards.com.
