Purpose of the Membership Committee

Help us get to know you, upload your picture on the chapter App.

Work with the Managing Director to grow chapter membership and provide a welcoming experience to each new member
Create new and exciting ways to add value to the chapter membership
Develop and execute chapter hosted "Fireside Chats"
Assist in the upgrade of communication to chapter members
Along with the Student Chapter liaison continue to strengthen the relationship with our student chapters

The Manager Advancement Program

In an effort to continue to add more value to your membership, the CMAA Georgia Chapter Board of Directors has elected to rebrand the Mentor Program into the "Manager Advancement Program" in order to continue our alignment with the CMAA National Association. We need your involvement and participation to help make this program a success!

The purpose of the MAP is to:

Add depth to what our Chapter offers to our members
To provide continuing growth opportunities and development of managers
Promote a smaller group setting to meet other members, network, and exchange ideas
Gain greater involvement by Chapter members at monthly Chapter events
Expose our chapter members to elite industry leaders in our Chapter that will serve as "Mentors".

Honoring Mr. G. Mead Grady, CCM as he has a dedicated room named for him at the GSU School of Hospitality 50th Gala and Moiz Bootwalla who became an Honorary Hospitality Faculty Member
